Get to know Sandeep
Sandeep is the Managing Partner of Redseer Consulting looking at Middle East and Africa regions. He is a digital strategist with a focus on emerging markets with 13+ years of experience in consulting and technology.
Sandeep has expertise in multiple sectors including e-commerce, technology, telecom and private equity. Sandeep has helped e-commerce players, policy makers, large corporates and startups across multiple topics including corporate strategy, commercial strategy, functional strategy, business planning, due-diligence and funding.
Most recently, Sandeep was the Director of strategy and corporate development at MarkaVIP, an online shopping community in the MENA region. He defined the original growth strategy for MarkaVIP and led many operational initiatives across functions, including logistics, marketing, and customer analytics. He also led the discussions with investment bankers to raise new funds.
Prior to that, Sandeep Ganediwalla was a Senior Associate (Senior Engagement Manager) at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) for 6+ years. In Strategy&, Sandeep worked on multiple agenda shaping projects with governments, telecom operators and ICT players to define their strategy and help execute them. He has worked in a range of emerging markets including Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Sudan, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Indonesia, India, Australia, and Malaysia. He has also published multiple papers highlighting the impact of digitization including a paper in the Global Information Technology Report (GITR) of World Economic Forum.
