Impact of COVID on our workforce
COVID 19 continues to be a global threat and has caused a significant change to how we have functioned in the past. Times may be turbulent, however, we are committed to two things: employee’s safety and razor-sharp focus on delivering value and impact – in fact, we see multiple opportunities to challenge ourselves and even better our game!
Leadership and Employee connect
Early-on in the phase, we recognized the importance of Communication and Staying Connected, when remote working replaced the tested and comfortable practice of collaborating across desks under one roof. Virtual working, however, did not stop us from collaborating. We went ahead and stepped up the rhythm and predictability of our communication touch-points, went on to hosting our Corporate Townhalls through Zoom, and in general kept our employees informed on how we see the Pandemic situation playing out for RedSeer both in the short and long term. We coupled the above with employee sentiment surveys and BU level connect activities all of which kept the momentum going. Needless to say, positive morale is contagious and we experienced this through the last few weeks. One of the highlights during this unprecedented phase is the trust quotient that our employees have in the company’s leadership (94% of our employees expressed high confidence in the leadership team – as called out during one of the employees sentiment surveys).
Redseer action on business continuity planning
Going by the Government advisory, we have resumed work from office observing all the norms and precautions called out by MoHFW and Government. Our Strategy follows the 3Cs Model:
Cognizance: Awareness (emails, visual enablers, standard operating procedures, frequently asked questions)
Cautiousness: Temperature checks, sanitizer dispensers, mandatory masks, mandatory social norms like spaced seating, meeting room practices etc.,
Control: Protocols and Scheduled Disinfection activities and Emergency Procedures
Communication continues to be the key and we have a steady stream of information going to our employees including our workplace videos and news articles of relevance. In summary, we are committed to business continuity while ensuring compliance with all safety and wellness guidelines published by the concerned authorities from time to time.
