Get to know Abhishek
Abhishek is a Strategy and Consulting professional with ~13 years of experience in Technology, Telecom, Insurance / Insure-tech, Automotive (Mobility), and Consumer Internet sectors, both in the Indian as well as Global markets. Through his career, Abhishek has gained considerable experience on Deal Strategy (CDD, Target Screening, ODD and Synergy Assessment), and Growth Strategy (Market Entry and Product / Portfolio Strategy).
Prior to RedSeer, he was working with Go Digit General Insurance (the fastest growing GI firm on the planet) where he established and led the Central Sales Strategy team. While driving the pan India retail sales strategy for the GI products portfolio, he made sure that partners and customers get digitally enabled to work with the InsureTech based firm through having the right systems (CRM / Portal access / Tools), required support and trainings. He led pan India retail product launches for the organization, and also established the Partner Engagement team, which drove analytics-based decisions and campaigns to maximize revenues from the key business partners. In addition, he increased engagement through conducting extensive BPR engagements for ~60 priority clients in India (Insurance intermediaries).
Earlier, Abhishek spent time with strategy consulting houses such as KPMG’s Global Strategy Group (GSG), Bain & Company and Frost & Sullivan, with focus on CDDs and Growth Strategy, working mostly on TMT / ICT engagements. He established himself as a thought leader in the ICT / TMT industry and spoke across industry forums and media on the various disruptive technologies, and related industry events/issues. His career started with the Business Strategy function at Motorola Mobility, where he focussed on Competitive Intelligence and Portfolio Strategy for Motorola’s smartphone portfolio in India, APAC and EMEA markets.
During his personal time, he loves playing sports (especially Squash), strumming guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
